6 Mil Dura-Skrim® reinforced plastic sheeting is a heavy duty, lightweight construction and agricultural film used in both indoor and temporary outdoor applications. Made of high strength polyethylene film reinforced with a layer of polyester scrim to prevent ripping and tearing, it offers features such as carbon black and UV stabilizers to increase longevity for short to mid-term outdoor cover applications that require minimal heat buildup.

DURA-SKRIM® 2 consists of two sheets of high-strength polyethylene film laminated together with a third layer of molten polyethylene. A heavy-duty scrim reinforcement placed between these plies greatly enhances tear-resistance and increases service life.

DURA-SKRIM®’s heavy-duty diamond reinforcement responds to tears immediately by surrounding and stopping the tear.

DURA-SKRIM® 2 is used for temporary applications that require a lightweight yet highly tear-resistant film such as building enclosures and abatement applications.

6 Mil Dura-Skrim® is a certified vapor retarder passing ASTM E 96 standards.
