Accounting Intern

Position Summary:

The Accounting internship provides a robust experience for a self-motivated student interested in using and developing their skills to work on a variety of accounting processes and projects. This paid position provides an excellent opportunity for a person working on their accounting degree to gain valuable hands-on experience while being mentored by a skilled Accounting Manager.

  • Assist with building, tracking and analyzing Accounting-related data and metrics.
  • Support billing and returns processes across various locations.
  • Balance credit card statements for Corporate credit card program.
  • Support additional tasks and projects to build experience within Accounting as well as working cross functionally in a multi-state organization.
  • Handle sensitive or confidential information with honesty and integrity.

Qualifications

  • Student actively enrolled in an accounting-related undergraduate program (Associate or Bachelor), with current GPA of 3.0 or above.
  • Required availability to work a minimum 12 hours per week, up to 20 hours or more during school breaks.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office applications with a strong emphasis in Microsoft Excel. Intermediate Excel skills preferred.
