Business Analyst

Position Summary:

The Business Analyst acts as the liaison between branches/business units and technology team to facilitate business process improvements through methodical investigation, analysis, review, and documentation of functional business specifications. This position manages the requirements development process through the design, analysis, specification, and verification of multiple levels of requirements.   The Business Analyst is responsible for gaining end-to-end perspective and support the ongoing management of various requirements.

  • Builds relationships with cross functional partners to discover opportunities and build technical solutions that optimize business processes.
  • Interacts with internal and external customers to capture and analyze requirements and mapping specifications.  This includes several simultaneous projects.
  • Builds and maintains documentation that is useful, accessible, and up to date.
  • Develops functional test plans, user acceptance test plans, and related scenarios.
  • Develops requirements specifications according to standard templates.
  • Challenges customers and vendors in a collaborative manner to think about different options to deliver on their needs.
  • Fosters a professional work team environment and consistently looks for innovative ways to provide value to the business.
  • Champions standardization wherever practical for all external integration solutions.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of analyst experience.
  • Experience leading multiple projects simultaneously.
  • High School Diploma
