Engineered Wood Specialist

Position Summary:

This is a professional position responsible for designing layouts and generating estimates for new construction, remodel and commercial projects. This position requires exceptional attention to detail and motivation to provide a high level of design.

• Design and layout floor joists, rafters and walls for new home, remodel and commercial projects.
• Manage material estimates and arrange on time deliveries.
• Gather customer specific information to accurately address customer needs.
• Note market trends and keep in close communication with sales/ for planning purposes.
• Attend sales and other organizational meetings.
• Traveling to customers to present products/go over projects

• High attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Good written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Framing preferred but not required.
• Experience using 3D rendering design software.
• Knowledge of standard construction practices.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications preferred but not required.
