Machine Operator/ Warehouse - Sheboygan Falls, WI

Position Summary:

The primary responsibility of this position is to perform all duties associated with machine operating and warehouse tasks.  As a member of the Operations team, offering to help others when the workload demands, treating teammates with respect and care and performing work in a safe manner according to safety policies and procedures is critical.

Performance of Machine Operating Functions

  • Operate the lamination line which includes assembling panels and loading/unloading a press.
  • Follow production orders and specifications while operating machinery.
  • Adjusts the machine settings for orders and trouble-shoots minor issues.
  • Inspect finished products for defects to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Follow safety procedures and policies when performing production duties.

Performance of Warehouse Functions

  • Use Warehouse Management System (WMS) and handheld scanner to perform daily warehouse operations. WMS operations include picking, bin replenishments and cycle counting.
  • Unload laminate and replenish them in the designated location in the warehouse.
  • Pick materials from bins for customer orders.
  • Roll and prep material for safe shipping.
  • Load products on trucks efficiently and according to safe weight distribution practices.

Performance of Miscellaneous Functions

  • Perform routine maintenance work such as cleaning warehouses/machinery.
  • Inspect the machinery prior to daily operation to avoid equipment problems and malfunctions in accordance with OSHA regulations.
