Retail Channel Outside Sales Associate - Jackson

Position Summary

The Retail Channel Sales Associate will report to the Branch Manager and will create demand for products in the Retail Dealer Channel. The Associate and the team will help to drive new growth in support of sales and operations. The ability to understand our business will be a major key to success in the role. We will provide an opportunity to collaborate, partner and take initiative.

The Associate will prospect and generate new business, cold call on new opportunities to meet and exceed revenue goals.

There will also be an opportunity to conduct training, host in store tabletop displays and offer technical support for dealer yards and builders across Amerhart footprint.

This role will have a visible presence with Pro Desk teams and key location team members.

Duties and Responsibilities*

  • Call on Pro Desk at retail locations on a consistent basis
  • Prepare and deliver sales proposals/presentations and follow up with key decision makers
  • Educate the Sales and Operations teams at the branch
  • Identify and resolve any customer issues and problems
  • Travel to job sites, customer locations, and trade shows to present products
  • Maintain the professional appearance of vehicle
  • Other duties, as assigned and requested by management
  • Basic Knowledge of Building Material Take Off systems and Process

Required credentials:

  • Minimum 2 years sales and or customer service experience
  • Preferred basic building materials or construction knowledge
  • College degree preferred, but relevant work experience may be considered
